Monday, December 3, 2007 what more could i ask?
Sunday the highlight of that day was the trip to Vivo City for a church activity. the title 'Yum Yum Mmm...I Like!'. haha. you should have a rough idea of what it was about now. you thinking what im thinking? yup. it was about FOOD. the game had the same concept as The Amazing Race. there were seven stations in total. at the start, we were being condemned by a MRT staff for being too noisy. after a rough briefing, we were off! our first station required us to take a group photo with, a couple, an elderly, and a family. the second one required us to do quite many things, and two of them involved lip contact. it was undoubtedly my favourite station...hehehe...not trying to mean anything peculiar though. haha. the third one required us to...erm...do any Christmas carol and dance around a dustbin. then, we had to play a game called 'qing ni gen wo yi qi zuo'. the other four stations weren't as entertaining as the first three. at the end of the whole game, we had to finish all the food we were given or bought. it was dubbed as the 'climax' of the whole game. then came the results. guess what, we were the youngest group but yet managed to get second place! haha, it sure is a feat worth reckoning, and Krystle had been influential throughout. after a while, Noel and i left. it was one memorable day... Monday it wasn't like any other 'mundane monday morning'. my morning wasn't something to cheer about, but it was something to jeer about. i was late for the '2nd Official and 3rd Overall SL Meeting'. not JUST late, but 30minutes late. yeah...and so on. the whole meeting was a fruitful one. after the meeting, Jonathan, Xiang Rui, Raymond and I proceeded to JEC for lunch. we lunched at the food court. we were all shivering cold. next, we went upstairs to look at people ice-skate. then, we moved on to the arcade to have a few rounds of Daytona. didn't really like the outcome though. after we've finished that game, i admired this little boy, probably six or seven years of age, play Time Crisis 4. he seemed to be really really really talented in that game! child prodigy... when it was about 4+, we left home. Tuesday hmm...yet another memorable day, i woke up at 7.10am, just to make sure i wont be LATE again, for my '1st Official Scout Committee Meeting'. it was Student Leader yesterday, and today, Scouts...sigh, how stressful! coming up next is surely Prefect...as i would have duty on the 21st of December... anyway, our meeting was held at mailto:McDonald Albert Park. once again, i was the secretary. that meant that i would record down every detail given, and not just that, think of ideas and such. nevermind, we did many things...the ambience was a key factor in ensuring that we had a smooth-sailing meeting. haha. whatever. and, it was the FIRST time i did a prayer. haha. 11.35am, and we ended our meeting. i walked around Cold Storage and bought a handful of tidbits. then, i proceeded to SP for soccer. i was the first to arrive there, and had to wait 25 minutes for the second one to arrive. at the mean time, i did countless warm-ups. the whole soccer event had been rather fun. it was certainly great to be kicking a ball again. i thought that i would have lost some skills, but what turned out was that i possessed even more. haha. it was one of the best matches ive EVER played. allow me to be egoistic for a moment. i scored 10 over goals. and ALL of them weren't just spetacular, it was...shocking? it was seriously one of the best games ive played... not everything was smooth-sailing (second time i've used this word), there were embarrassing moments too. there was a part whereby i was chasing for a ball in order for it not to enter the goal line, then, i FUMBLED butt-first. goodness me, it was 'PAINLESS'. after we had lunch and everything, Darrel, Noel and I proceeded to JEC for some dessert at McDonald's. a pity Mitchell couldn't (or didn't) come. while walking there, i had a dilemma. Chocolate Milkshake or Mudpie McFlurry? we had decided that if the server was a male, i would get the former, and female, the latter. guess what!? there were both of them! gosh. after Noel had gotten his Milkshake, and Darrel his McFlurry, i was still left pondering...then came Noel to the rescue! he ASKED one of them, the female,"err...excuse me uhh, should that guy buy milkshake or mudpie mcflurry?" and giggled... ... in the end, i got the latter, thanks to her opinion. haha. comical, but definitely not make-believe. to end our day, we gallavanted Popular. we browsed through a few books, which included Fighting Fantasy, and some other novels by Anthony Horowitz. by 8pm, we all had returned home. i hope you guys have had a fine day...till the next time people, goodbye... =D
